David Backes scored twice for the first time in his career to lead the Blues past the Jackets in Columbus.
Bill Guerin scored his 26th goal and continues to improve the chances of the Blues receiving good young prospects for him at the deadline if he is dealt. Dallas Drake also added and empty-net goal.
